Positive: Lower cost than other hotels. No frills, you get what you pay for - a clean room and a bed for the night. Decent enough. The owners take good care of the place. The location is right off Main St, so easy to find. The Mekong Plaza is nearby, with good Asian food. Can walk there. The Valley Metro goes right by. Easy check-in. An old-school, one-story roadside motel, You park in front of your room. For what it is, it was fine for 2 nights. I had a lot to do in Phoenix area so did not spend much time there. No one bothered me. Owners were friendly.
Negative: WIFI was a little slow. Noises at 3 am from neighboring room. Traffic noise from Main St. No safe box in room. But nothing troubling. It is all about what you expect. It is a no-frills, roadside motel. The lower price is about the no frills, not about the place being dumpy or unsafe or something like that.
Summary: Decent no-frills motel, Good if you are not expecting much more than a bed for the night.

Positive: Very clean and well kept. Mattress was comfortable.
Negative: The room had a large mirror at the head of the bed that lit up around the edges if turned on. Mirrored closet doors to the side of the bed also. This was a definite turn off; gave the room a rent-by-the-hour feel. Tacky! Would've given a better rating had that not been a part of our stay.
Summary: Clean and comfortable, but mirrors a big thumbs down.

Positive: I liked that no breakfast is offered. Motel breakfasts are generally a tedious, mediocre affair. Glad to not have the expense added. The kitchen in the room is more than adequate for a person to do their own breakfast.
Summary: I want to live in that sweet little place! A person could be comfy and satisfied there for months!
